Care Instructions

Every detail is carefully considered, from the smooth finish to the elegant proportions, creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

Hand Wash Only: Wash both the marble platter and the golden knife by hand using mild dish soap and lukewarm water. Never submerge the knife or place either item in the dishwasher, as harsh cycles and high heat can ruin the knife’s metallic finish and degrade the stone.
Dry Immediately: Thoroughly dry both pieces with a soft, clean towel right after washing. Do not let water air-dry on the golden knife to prevent water spots, and avoid leaving standing moisture on the marble.
Prevent Staining: Wipe away oils, wine, citrus, cheese, or food residue promptly. Natural white marble is porous and can absorb strongly pigmented foods or acidic ingredients if left sitting.
Protect the Golden Finish: Avoid using abrasive sponges, scouring pads, metal scrubbers, or harsh chemical cleaners on the knife and platter. These will scratch the polished golden coating and dull the marble's natural sheen.
Safe Handling & Cutting: Use the golden knife exclusively for serving soft cheeses, butter, or fruits on the platter. Avoid using it on hard surfaces or for heavy-duty chopping, which can scratch the blade or chip the marble.
Proper Storage: Store both items in a dry place. If stacking the platter, place a soft cloth or felt separator between it and other dishware to protect the marble surface and edges.

Crafted from Banswara White Marble, sourced from Banswara, Rajasthan, this platter brings the natural elegance of Indian stone to the table. Each piece is carefully shaped and hand-polished by skilled artisans, allowing the marble’s subtle veining to make every platter one of a kind.

Paired with a high-quality metal knife sourced from Uttar Pradesh, the set is thoughtfully designed for serving cheese, fruits, appetisers and everyday favourites. Bringing together Rajasthan’s timeless marble and fine Indian metalwork, it is a piece made not just for serving, but for moments meant to be shared.

Safe Packaging

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch.
