Care Instructions

Wipe Clean After Use: Wipe the marble and wooden sections of the board gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each use to clear away food residue and keep both materials looking pristine.
Hand Wash Only: Clean by hand using mild dish soap and lukewarm water when necessary. Never submerge the board in water for prolonged periods, and keep it completely out of the dishwasher to protect the mixed-material joint.
Dry Promptly: Dry the board thoroughly with a clean, soft towel immediately after washing to prevent moisture from warping the wooden handle or settling into the porous marble.
Prevent Staining: Promptly wipe away oils, citrus juices, or strongly pigmented foods. Natural marble and untreated wood can both absorb liquids and stain if spills are left sitting.
Condition the Wood: Periodically treat the wooden portion with a food-safe mineral oil or wood balm to preserve its natural grain and prevent it from drying out.
Safe Handling & Storage: Lift and store the board using the integrated handle cutout, placing it securely on a flat surface or hanging it up to prevent accidental drops that could chip the stone.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Stay away from abrasive scrubbers, metal scouring pads, and acidic or bleach-based cleaners, which will scratch the polished marble finish and damage the wood.

Crafted from Banswara White Marble, sourced from Banswara, Rajasthan, and paired with the natural warmth of solid wood, this chopping board brings two timeless materials together in one functional piece.

The marble and wood are individually cut, shaped, and finished by skilled artisans before being carefully joined to create a smooth, balanced surface. The cool elegance of white marble contrasts beautifully with the natural grain of wood, making every board slightly different from the next.

Designed for chopping, prepping, serving cheeses, fruits, breads, and appetisers, it moves effortlessly from the kitchen counter to the dining table made for everyday use, but beautiful enough to serve on.

Safe Packaging

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch.
