Care Instructions

Wipe Clean Daily: Gently wipe the Morchana marble base and wooden upright post with a soft, slightly damp cloth after everyday kitchen use to remove any dust or surface spills.
Hand Clean with Care: Clean the holder by hand using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and lukewarm water only when necessary. Never submerge the piece in water, and keep it completely out of the dishwasher.
Dry Promptly: Dry both the marble base and the wooden rod thoroughly with a clean, soft towel immediately after cleaning to prevent water spots and protect the mixed-material joint from moisture retention.
Prevent Staining: Promptly wipe away any kitchen oils, food splatters, or liquids. Natural marble and untreated wood are porous and can absorb spills if left sitting on the surfaces for extended periods.
Condition the Wood: Periodically treat the wooden post with a small amount of food-safe mineral oil or wood balm to preserve its natural grain and keep it from drying out.
Protect the Edges: Handle the holder securely from the base when moving it across your kitchen counter, as heavy natural marble can chip or crack if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Stay away from abrasive scrubbers, metal pads, and acidic or bleach-based cleaners, which will scratch the polished marble finish and damage the wood.

The circular marble base is carefully cut, shaped and polished by skilled craftsmen, allowing its soft, organic veining to remain the highlight. Rising from the stone is a solid wooden rod, precisely fitted into the marble to create a clean and balanced silhouette.

The contrast is what makes the piece special—the cool solidity of natural marble against the warm grain of wood. Every base carries its own veining and every wooden rod its own grain, ensuring that no two pieces are completely identical.

Safe Packaging

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch. From our hands to your home, every piece is packed with patience, precision and care so it reaches you as beautifully as it left us.
