Care Instructions

Every detail is carefully considered, from the smooth finish to the elegant proportions, creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

Wipe Clean Gently: Wipe your textured travertine fruit bowl softly with a dry or barely damp microfiber cloth to remove everyday dust while preserving the stone's natural porous character.
Hand Wash with Care: Clean by hand using a soft cloth dampened with mild, pH-neutral soap and lukewarm water only when necessary. Never submerge the bowl in water.
Dry Promptly: Dry the bowl thoroughly with a clean, soft towel immediately after cleaning to prevent moisture from settling deep into the natural voids and crevices of the travertine.
Prevent Staining: Promptly wipe away juices from fresh fruits, oils, or spills. Travertine is exceptionally porous and can easily absorb liquids or acidic residues if they are left sitting on the surface.
Safe Handling & Placement: Lift and support the heavy stone bowl securely with both hands when moving it, placing it gently on stable countertops or dining tables to prevent accidental chipping.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Stay away from abrasive scrubbers, metal scouring pads, and acidic, citrus-, vinegar-, or bleach-based cleaners, which will permanently etch, scratch, or ruin the unique finish of the travertine stone.

Designed to bring warmth and sophistication to your home, our pieces create inviting spaces where memories are made and cherished.

This serving bowl begins its journey in Turkey, where we source our natural Travertine marble, chosen for its warm earthy tones and beautiful open pores that give the stone its unmistakable character.

Back at our workshop, a solid block of Travertine is carefully mounted on a lathe machine and slowly shaped into its rounded form. But the machine only begins the process. From there, skilled hands take over refining the curves, smoothing the edges and hand-polishing the bowl until the form feels beautifully balanced while preserving the raw, natural character of Travertine.

We intentionally let the stone speak for itself. The tiny cavities, tonal variations and markings you see are not imperfections. they are part of how Travertine was formed by nature, making every bowl genuinely one of a kind.

Generously proportioned for everyday living, it can be used as a fruit and vegetable bowl, a serving bowl for dry foods, or simply as a sculptural centrepiece on your dining table or kitchen counter.

Safe Packaging

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch. From our hands to your home, every piece is packed with patience, precision and care so it reaches you as beautifully as it left us.
