Care Instructions

Wipe Clean Daily: Gently wipe your dark green marble pedestal tray with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth after each gathering or use to remove dust, crumbs, or surface residues.
Hand Wash with Care: Clean gently by hand using mild dish soap and lukewarm water only when necessary. Never submerge the tray in water, and keep it completely out of the dishwasher.
Dry Promptly: Dry the stone thoroughly with a clean, soft towel immediately after washing to prevent water spots and moisture retention on the porous natural marble surface.
Prevent Staining: Promptly wipe away any food oils, sauce spills, wine, or citrus drops. Natural green marble is porous and can absorb liquids if left sitting on the surface for extended periods.
Protect Before Serving Hot Food: Always place a sheet of butter paper or parchment paper underneath hot dishes, platters, or food items before serving on the tray.
Safe Handling & Placement: Lift and carry the heavy pedestal tray securely with both hands, supporting it from underneath rather than by the raised edges, as natural stone can chip or crack if dropped or knocked against hard countertops.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Stay away from abrasive scrubbers, metal scouring pads, and acidic or bleach-based cleaners, which will scratch the polished finish and dull the green marble's natural veining and rich luster.

The platter is carefully shaped and hand-polished by skilled craftsmen, then elevated on a solid marble pedestal to give it a beautiful, sculptural presence. The raised form adds height to a tablescape while allowing the natural character of the stone to become the centre of attention.

Safe Packaging

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch. From our hands to your home, every piece is packed with patience, precision and care so it reaches you as beautifully as it left us.
