Care Instructions

Wipe Clean Daily: Gently wipe your white marble game board and the 35 iron balls with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth after each game play session to remove dust, moisture, or fingerprints.

Hand Wash with Care: Clean the marble board gently by hand using mild dish soap and lukewarm water only when necessary. Never submerge the stone board in water, and keep it completely out of the dishwasher.
Special Care for Iron Balls: Wipe the iron balls clean with a dry or lightly oiled microfiber cloth to prevent rust; do not soak them in water, and ensure they are dried immediately if exposed to any moisture.
Dry Promptly: Dry both the marble board and all 35 iron balls thoroughly with a clean, soft towel right after cleaning to prevent water spots on the stone and oxidation or rusting on the metal balls.
Prevent Staining: Promptly wipe away any spills or oils from the marble surface, as natural stone is porous and can absorb liquids if left sitting for extended periods.
Protect Before Serving Hot Food: Always place a sheet of butter paper or parchment paper underneath hot dishes, platters, or food items if using the game board surface for casual serving.
Safe Handling & Ball Storage: Store the 35 iron balls safely in a pouch or container to prevent them from rolling off tables or striking the marble board too hard, as heavy impacts can chip or crack the stone.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Stay away from abrasive scrubbers, metal scouring pads, and acidic or bleach-based cleaners, which will scratch the marble's polished finish and can damage the finish of the iron balls.

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch.
