Wipe Clean Daily: Gently wipe your scalloped white marble platter with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth after each gathering or tea service to keep the fluted rim and polished surface immaculate.
Hand Wash with Care: Clean gently by hand using mild dish soap and lukewarm water only when necessary. Never submerge the platter in water, and keep it completely out of the dishwasher.
Dry Promptly: Dry the stone thoroughly with a clean, soft towel immediately after washing to prevent water spots and moisture retention on the porous marble surface.
Prevent Staining: Promptly wipe away oils, dressing spills, or strongly pigmented foods. Natural marble is porous and can absorb liquids if they are left sitting on the surface for extended periods.
Safe Handling & Placement: Lift and move the platter securely with both hands, placing it gently on flat, stable surfaces, as natural marble can chip or crack if dropped or knocked against hard countertops.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Stay away from abrasive scrubbers, metal scouring pads, and acidic or bleach-based cleaners, which will scratch the polished finish and dull the natural brilliance of the white marble.

Crafted from Banswara White Marble, sourced from Banswara, Rajasthan, this platter celebrates the beauty of traditional hand craftsmanship. The soft white stone, with its subtle natural veins and variations, gives every piece its own individual character.

What makes this platter special is its hand-shaped scalloped border. Each curve along the edge is carefully created and refined by skilled craftsmen, requiring patience to keep the pattern balanced and consistent around the entire platter. Once the form is complete, the marble is hand-polished to achieve a smooth finish while allowing the natural beauty of the stone to remain visible.

Designed for more than decoration, its generous round surface makes it a versatile serving platter for appetisers, desserts, dry snacks, cheese, fruits and festive spreads. When not in use, its sculptural edge makes it equally beautiful as a centrepiece on a dining or coffee table.

Safe Packaging

At The House of Marbella, protecting your piece is just as important to us as crafting it. Before any product leaves us, it goes through 2–3 layers of quality inspection to ensure it meets our standards. Each piece is then carefully cleaned and individually checked by two different team members before being approved for packing. Once approved, our dedicated packaging team begins a carefully designed multi-layer packing process. The product is first secured with protective thermocol and placed inside an inner box to minimise movement and impact during transit. The inner package is then thoroughly wrapped with bubble wrap and placed inside a strong outer shipping box for an additional layer of protection. Once completely packed, the package undergoes a drop test to ensure that the packaging is ready to withstand the handling involved during transit. Only after successfully passing our quality, cleaning, packaging and drop-test checks is the order cleared for dispatch. From our hands to your home, every piece is packed with patience, precision and care so it reaches you as beautifully as it left us.
